Online Booking Guide to Group Appointments
Group appointments can be made available to your clients, whether thats as a one-off, a recurring session or a block booking.
Making a group appointment available online
When creating or editing your group appointment types, simply use the Available for online booking toggle to allow the appointment to be booked online.

You can also set here whether you'd like the appointment to be paid for at the time of booking, and add a display name, description and image to better illustrate the service to clients and potential clients.
Make sure to also configure the locations and clinicians that will offer your treatment, so all possible options are shown to your clients
Viewing Group appointments on Online Booking
If you have set any Group appointments to be available online and scheduled them into the WriteUpp calendar, your clients will see an additional step in the booking process. Firstly, they'll select whether they would like to book an appointment, which would be any appointment available for online booking which is not set up as a group appointment, or a Group, which is a session that is available for online booking and set up as a group appointment.

Then, clients will choose from the available group booking appointment types:

When choosing an appointment to book, clients will see different views depending on whether the group session was set up as a block booking or not.
If group sessions were not set up as a block booking, and either as a one off session or with a recurrence, eg weekly or monthly, clients will select the date and time they would like to book as a singular session.
For example, for a pilates class which runs every Monday at 9am, I can navigate through the days and times and choose which to book:

If a block booking is selected, the availability view shows that this is a block booking, and that booking the time will reserve all sessions in the block:

The details can be expanded to view all sessions in the block:

Confirmation is also shown to the client when they select Book:

The appointment summary also contains information on how many sessions are being booked:

From there, clients will follow the booking process defined by your online booking settings and either complete verification or enter their details, and make payment if requested.
When payment is requested for a block booking, again it's for all sessions in the block. The resulting invoice then details each session:
Block Bookings keep all sessions linked together, making them ideal for structured courses of treatment, such as a six-session programme where clients are expected to attend every session. When booked online, clients reserve their place on all sessions within the block and pay for the entire course upfront, if pre-payment is enabled.
